One of the first things you need to do to publish and sell your art on TroopArt is to take a photograph of your artwork, so you can share it with art enthusiasts.

Quality: To obtain the best possible resolution of your artwork, use a professional camera or your cellphone at the highest resolution. Make sure to pay attention to the ambient light when capturing your pieces. Send your photographs in the highest resolution possible so that we can appreciate and share your art in maximum quality.

Image Requirements:

• File Format: JPEG.
• Maximum of 20 artworks.
• Minimum size of 4000 pixels x 3000 pixels. Refer to the megapixel-to-print size ratio table for more information.

How many megapixels do I need for quality printing?

Current cameras offer different levels of megapixels, ranging from 12 to 50 megapixels and beyond. Our table lists the possible (approximate) print sizes for typical megapixel ranges in 3:2 and 4:3 aspect ratios, and optimal and good print quality.

Once you have confirmed those details with your image file, you will be ready to start uploading your art.

You will be asked for the following information when uploading your art:

• Artwork title.
• Artwork description. This is a great opportunity to mention what materials were used to create the piece and on what type of surface the artwork was created.
• You will also be able to add the following additional information in the "Variants" section: Materials, dimensions, and country of origin of the artwork.
